Broadway Babies, Broadway Stars
and Showstoppers

Ages 2..5-5

We offer three age groups within our Baby Stars program, each with an entertaining curriculum designed to introduce young children to the world of dance. We engage students' natural enthusiasm while building motor skills, strength, balance, rhythm, and timing through ballet, jazz, and an introduction to tumbling — all woven into creative songs, games, and technique. At this level, our focus is simple: have fun while we learn!

Broadway Babies - 30 minutes, ages 2.5-4
Broadway Stars - 30 minutes, ages 3.5-4.5
Showstoppers - 30 or 45 minutes (45-minute option includes Tap), ages 4.5-6

Two classes a week is strongly encouraged.

Combo 1 & Combo 2

Our Combo program offers a more structured, one-hour class combining Ballet, Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Tap. As dancers progress through Combo, we continue building on their motor skills, strength, balance, timing, and rhythm — along with proper dance terminology and the fundamentals of working alongside other dancers.Students are taught the foundations of ballet, jazz, and hip-hop technique, with individualized instruction that gives them the correct groundwork for both their physical and mental development. We've found that this combination approach keeps kids excited, engaged, and focused for the full hour — moving between styles just often enough to hold their attention while still building real technique.

Combo 1 includes Ballet, Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Tap for ages 5.5-7
Combo 2 includes Ballet and Jazz/Hip-Hop (no Tap) for ages 8+

Two classes a week is strongly encouraged.

Ballet

Ballet is the backbone of all dance styles — to excel in any other style, a strong foundation in ballet is a must. This class focuses on correct technique alongside proper French terminology, giving dancers the fundamentals that carry through everything else they do.

Pointe is offered by teacher recommendation only.

Two classes a week is strongly encouraged.

Jazz

Jazz blends ethnic, contemporary, and ballet influences into a rhythm-driven style that's both technical and fun. Classes start with exercises that stretch and tone the body, building proper alignment and strength. Set to jazz, soul, R&B, and pop music, it's a great workout that also builds body awareness dancers carry with them off the dance floor.

Lyrical

In Lyrical, the song's lyrics are the driving force and key inspiration behind the movement. Lyrical dance shares much in common with ballet, blending classical ballet technique with the freedom, fluidity, and expressiveness of jazz, contemporary, and modern dance.More than any other style, Lyrical is about expression — dancers learn to interpret music and tell a story through movement, not just execute steps.

Ballet is a prerequisite for Lyrical.

Tap

Students are taught rhythms, timing, and leg/foot coordination done to various types of music. Tap is an excellent way to develop rhythmic skills and coordination. The classes stress the basics of tap and allows dancers to build into combinations which are great to watch and delightful to hear.

Hiphop

Hip-Hop gives dancers a high-energy outlet to build strength, coordination, and musicality while learning street-dance fundamentals like isolations and footwork. Set to current music, classes encourage dancers to bring their own personality and style into every combination — building confidence along the way.

Sparkle Pom Squad

Sparkle Pom brings together the technique of jazz dance with the energy of cheerleading and sideline pom. Dancers build rhythm, coordination, and teamwork while learning big, crowd-pleasing movement and formations — all set to upbeat music. It's a high-energy style built around team spirit as much as individual sparkle.

Ballroom

Ballroom is a fun, welcoming way for dancers to explore classic partner dance styles — no partner needed. Throughout the season, dancers are introduced to a variety of styles like Waltz, Cha-Cha, Rumba, and Swing, building coordination, posture, and confidence along the way. It's a wonderful complement to any dancer's training, and a great deal of fun in its own right.

Theater

Musical Theater brings together jazz dance, singing, and acting for a fun, well-rounded performance class. Dancers learn choreography set to Broadway-style songs, building confidence, stage presence, and storytelling skills alongside their dance technique — perfect for dancers who love to perform.
